OU By Jawad Yaqoubi

OU is a one-person show that explores toxicity, gender, and the fluid nature of selfhood through the autobiographical lens of a Hazara male Australian-Afghanistan. At the centre of the work is the singular Persian pronoun Ou—meaning She, he, it—which serves as a poetic anchor for the show’s exploration of identity and belonging.
